The Regional Director of Patient Safety is accountable for the design and maintenance of a comprehensive
patient safety program and provides support in all patient safety related activities associated with
accreditation standards, state and CMS regulations, Board of Stewardship Trustees established goals,
performance improvement, mentorship of new patient safety leaders, and education within their respective
geography, which are intended to prevent patient harm by advancing a culture of safety and high reliability
that stems from evidenced based guidelines.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Bachelors of Science Degree or Equivalent in a related
clinical discipline; Master’s Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience with 3 years
of patient safety experience in acute care
- Must demonstrate adeptness in supporting the
development of programs focused on achieving positive
outcomes within patient safety
- Experience in an integrated health system is preferred
- Experience in a matrix management environment involving
