Quality Inspector

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control processes, as well as the ability to utilize precision measuring instruments effectively. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
1st shift 7am - 3:30pm
2nd shift 3pm - 11:3pm
Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
Perform visual and dimensional checks using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Document inspection results, maintain records, and generate quality reports.
Identify and report non-conformances, assisting in root cause analysis.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work area.
Perform regular equipment calibration and maintain inspection tools.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in manufacturing or production.
Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
