Press Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of presses to produce high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Set up and operate presses according to job specifications and production requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Load and unload materials into the press
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with the press and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
- Experience with machining or fabrication is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
