The Project Search Instructor will be responsible for the education and supervision of the interns in Project SEARCH. Follows the Board approved, National Project SEARCH Corporation approved, occupation based curriculum design, which is delivered flexibly as individual needs dictate to develop knowledge, skills, work ethics, and compatible attitudes for employment. To identify interns strengths, interests, and abilities related to career counseling, job development, and placement. To seek an appropriate community job site consistent with the interns interests and skills. To determine and refer interns to appropriate community support services for training and successful employment. To work with local businesses and industry to meet their staffing needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with students in an educational environment.
Experience in job training and job placement.
Above requirements may be met by equivalent combination of education and experience.
