Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for assigned projects or project sections.
• Identify, price, and track change orders, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Plan and monitor project cash flow and expenses.
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and execute project close-out and punch list completion.
• Develop actionable goals and strategies to prioritize, organize, and accomplish tasks efficiently.
• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Prepare submittals, price change orders, and create estimates for partially designed projects by completing designs.
• Collaborate with supervisory staff, clients, contractors, and design professionals to address work procedures, resolve complaints, and overcome construction challenges.
• Effectively communicate project requirements and timelines, document verbal agreements, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred), with 5+ years of experience in construction or electrical contracting.
• Proven experience with construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $10M.
• Familiarity with contract drawings, subcontracts, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Proficiency in CPM scheduling and advanced design techniques for producing technical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience using MS Office, Bluebeam, PDF tools, and similar software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Accubid Estimating (or equivalent) for electrical installations.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM scheduling (or equivalent).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to project locations as needed.

Abilities

• Comfortable working with extended exposure to computer screens.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods and perform fine motor tasks using a keyboard.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and relay complex information.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, applying general rules to specific challenges effectively.
