What a day is like:
The Procurement Lead is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing both Business & Technology agreements to optimize vendor relationships and achieve substantial cost savings. This role ensures that all purchases align with company objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Procurement, Contract Management and Cost Negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies to optimize costs and manage risks. Evaluate vendors based on criteria such as cost-effectiveness, quality, support and scalability.
  • Contract Negotiation & Management: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service levles to achieve favorable outcomes and long-term cost savings.
  • Cost Savings and Value Optimization: Identify, analyze and realize cost-saving opportunities within existing and new vendor agreements.
  • Market Analysis & Metric Reporting: Stay current with trends, pricing and advancements in technology to benchmark and negotiate purchasing decisions. Measure, report, and prepare reports to realize cost savings and efficiencies.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Partner with legal and compliance to ensure all agreements comply with applicable, legal, regulatory and industry standards including privacy and technology security.
You’re perfect for this role if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement and vendor management, with a strong record of achieving cost savings.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
