Summary of Duties
As a Procurement and Contract Assistant, you will:
- Public Records Liaison which involves researching, redacting, releasing, assessing fees if necessary and tracking public records requests in accordance with public records laws.
- Serve as primary contact for ODHS/OHA for leased Ricoh copiers, answering questions, determine the appropriate model based on needs and usage, work with program staff to requisition replacement machines when the lease expires, work with Ricoh sales and service reps to resolve issues.
- Purchase standard products and services for the Department using SPOTS card or purchase orders against state price agreements.
- Respond to problems identified by vendors or customers and negotiate with all involved parties to resolve problems and/or gain compliance.
- Maintain personnel records and possess the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information. Analyze contract requests to determine if sufficient information is included to develop Contract and Statement of Work.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of clerical-support experience in a related fields such as general business, accounting, contracts, purchasing, or project administration support.
Associates degree or higher will substitute for the experience.
A one-year certificate in supply chain, logistics management, procurement, or a related field will substitute for one year of experience.
