What a day is like: This role will play a critical role in shaping the end-to-end payments solutions to optimize payments while making it as easy to pay as possible. Candidate will be analytical, process driven, knowledgeable of our market segment(s) and work cross-functionally to lead the overall payment strategy, ensuring a seamless payment experience for customers, and managing relationships with payment providers and networks. This role combines elements of strategic leadership, operational management, compliance, and customer experience enhancement. Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive payments strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals, including expanding payment options and optimizing costs. Lead initiatives to incorporate emerging payment technologies and stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes. Oversee end-to-end payment processing for customer payments and ensuring timely and efficient operations. Customer Experience Enhancement: Optimize existing/new payment options to meet customer needs and reduce payment friction. Develop and oversee processes for quick and effective resolution of payment-related issues, and work with Partner with product and UX teams to ensure payment flows are simple, intuitive and seamless. Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop, monitor and analyze key payment metrics, report regularly on payment performance to senior leadership, and collaborate with finance to forecast transaction volumes, payment rate performance, processing costs, etc. Risk Management & Compliance: Partner with the Fraud Team to ensure payment fraud detection and prevention strategies are the most effective to minimize fraud losses and maintain customer trust. Ensure all payment processes comply with relevant regulations.
You are perfect for this role if you have the following:
10+ years in the fintech or payment industry
Leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in credit card industry.
Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.
