Description: This position will include assisting the Procurement Manager with clerical, monitoring/tracking, and data entry duties, as well as assisting the Materials Team Leads with ordering, maintaining inventory, stocking, moving, storing, and distributing materials safely and efficiently for the ASC. Additionally, the Procurement Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and coding invoices for payment processing.
Raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
Assist in ongoing review records and information to determine if work processes and procedures are effective.
Assists in contractor selections by gathering procurement specifications and tender bids received from suppliers.
Assist in ongoing review records and information to determine if work processes and procedures are effective.
Support work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
Maintain and complete charge sheets.
Assist in building relationships with organizational networks and external vendors for procurement.
Monitor and complete 3-way matching.
Maintain and complete coded invoices.
Data Entry
Pull patient charts.
Sorting and Filing
Receiving and inspecting incoming materials, and processing paperwork
Storing materials in designated locations
Picking and packing materials for shipment
Loading and unloading trucks using material handling equipment
Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and physical inventories
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required Years of Experience 1: Preferred Basic Life Support (American Heart Association: Preferred
