The Pricing Analyst will work collaboratively with Sales and Customer Service divisions to service rates, contracts, and insurance requests for all enterprise customers.
Become a subject matter expert regarding both the industry and flatbed market through external research, internal analysis, and continual market reporting.
Strategically prepare contractual rate changes based upon profitability analysis and market conditions to assist Sales in their customer-facing execution.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure adherence to financially viable rating structure regarding both contractual and spot business.
Coordinate and participate in strategy meetings with both Sales and Customer Service to analyze market conditions and organize action items.
Provide tailored reporting regarding the operations of the company to better advise corresponding departments.
Develop and deliver targeted presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist Sales with back-of-house responsibilities regarding the onboarding of New Customers and maintenance of Existing Customers.
Serve as the in-house point of contact for all insurance requests alongside our provider.

Bachelors degree in general business, finance, or data field preferred.
Working familiarity with the shipping/supply-chain industry.
Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience applying economic and financial concepts.
Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word), Carrier Management Systems such as Mc Leod, and data visualization software such as Tableau.
