Position Overview:
Full-time Position
As the Retail Pricing Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the pricing strategy for products in the retail grocery environment. You will be collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate pricing and promotions while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze market trends, competition and cost factors to determine optimal pricing strategy
- Monitor and adjust prices based on market dynamics, customer behavior and business goals
- Conduct regular pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute promotional pricing strategies
- Monitor the success of promotions and provide recommended adjustments to optimize results while meeting sales targets
- Ensure accurate and consistent pricing across all products and locations
- Maintain and update pricing databases, systems, and POS systems with current and accurate pricing information
- Partnering with procurement to understand product costs and factors affecting pricing decisions
- Partnering with inventory management to ensure appropriate pricing for clearance, seasonal and overstocked items
- Gather and analyze customer feedback related to pricing, promotions and perceived value; utilizing insights to make recommended pricing decisions and improvements to current pricing strategy
- Maintain accurate and organized records of pricing decisions, strategies and changes
- Generate regular reports on pricing performance, including sales trends, margins and pricing effectiveness
- Adhere to all company safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Experience:
- Preferred: One (1) year retail experience or relevant experience
Skills:
- Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; walking on a variety of flooring such as concrete, tile, carpet etc
- Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
- Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality
