We are seeking applicants for the position of Patient Services Representative to join our ASC Department. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional customer service and communication skills. In this position, the employee will be responsible for pre-admission, admission, pre-registration, and registration functions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION LOCATION: EYE-Q Vision Care Fresno
PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $30.50 per hour depending on skills, experience, and education.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets patients/visitors and cover the check-in process.
- Ensures health insurance has been verified and current cards are on file.
- Collects balances associated with surgery and outstanding balances.
- Posts payments collected to practice management system.
- Prints and obtains signatures for all for all applicable forms (HIPAA, AOB, Patient Rights, etc.).
- Assist patients with questions about their insurance and balances.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Next Gen.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Six months to one year of related experience and/or technical school training.
