PART-TIME Residential Youth Care Worker
Gateway Residential in Delta is looking for full- and part-time direct-care professional to join our team in working with adolescent males, primarily on evening and weekend shifts. This is a professional position and qualified staff will supervise youth at all times, teach new skills and help struggling youth co-regulate, support with crisis intervention and de-escalation, assist with independent living skills, teach pro-social tools and behaviors, and create a positive environment to foster change. GRS is looking for candidates who are committed to providing compassionate care, bringing a positive attitude to work, and creating safety and healthy relationships with the youth in care. Compensation: $18/hour - There are opportunities for overtime and a quarterly bonus structure is in place for bonuses of up to $1000/quarter.
Applicants must have the ability for flexible scheduling patterns (evenings, weekends, overnights, etc.).
Training provided: Colorado QMAP, 1st Aid/CPR, CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, & Job Specific.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age. To qualify, applicants need either 2 years of college or a high school diploma plus one year of human service experience. All positions require background checks. All job-related training is paid.
