We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Building Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities run smoothly and meet the highest standards of maintenance and security.
The Building Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of building operations, including maintenance, grounds upkeep, security, mail distribution, and support for building staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage contractors and solve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance: Monitor and manage ongoing building projects and coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance to ensure the facility is in optimal condition.
Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the exterior of the property, including mowing, managing flower beds, and keeping parking lots clean and safe.
Manage Building Security: Control building access and maintain security systems, implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard the facility and its occupants.
Manage Mail Deliveries: Distribute mail to building staff and oversee and manage package deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt.
Support Building Staff: Coordinate and provide support for internal meetings and events and manage office supply needs and ensure adequate inventory levels.
Key Attributes:
- Effective Communicator: Ability to interact with staff, contractors, and vendors clearly and professionally.
- Deep Understanding of Building Construction and Maintenance: Knowledge of building systems and the ability to manage maintenance tasks effectively.
- Ability to Manage Contractors: Experience in overseeing and coordinating with external contractors for various projects.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues and implementing solutions promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School/GED or higher
- Previous experience in building maintenance or facilities management is preferred.
- Familiarity with building security systems and ground maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $41,312 to $62,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees
