Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Magazine Sales Representative to join our team. This position involves selling advertising space in NOIRE Magazine to businesses and organizations. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, persuasive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for media and advertising sales. Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Acquisition:
Prospect, identify, and generate new leads for advertising opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with businesses, agencies, and potential clients.
Develop a deep understanding of the magazine's target audience to tailor sales pitches to potential advertisers.
Account Management:
Manage existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and renewal of contracts.
Provide clients with insights on audience demographics and media reach to maximize their advertising potential.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure that advertisements meet the specifications and are published on time.
Strategy and Development:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive publications, and new advertising opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to create promotional materials to support sales efforts.
Administrative Tasks:
Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts in CRM software.
Regularly report on sales performance and client feedback to management.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in media or advertising.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and creativity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and CRM tools.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
