As a Highlands Security Officer, you will patrol the resort looking for activities that are illegal or against resort rules to ensure the safety of both guests and employees. You are responsible for conducting and following up with incident reports, accident investigations, potential safety hazards. This is a full-time year-round position with flexible scheduling and a starting wage of $15 per hour but more can be expected depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
Watching for unusual, illegal, or dangerous activities occurring on the premises, and patrolling hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, and restaurants.
Responds to guest and employee incidents to resolve a wide variety of issues including rule enforcement, assisting with guest vehicle issues, unable to get into rooms/offices, etc.
Assisting Law Enforcement / EMS / and Fire services.
Providing First Aid / CPR.
Investigating and filing after a guest accident.
Assistance with housekeeping calls after hours
Assistance with maintenance calls after hours
Monitor and file key control for the resort property.
Securing and un-securing areas of operations for staff
Taking in and recording lost and found items.
Providing medical equipment and safety equipment to staff
Monitoring gas meters and reporting to corporate
File all necessary incident reports.
Patrol in a vehicle or on foot, reporting suspicious behavior on the resort property.
Assistance with guests and team members request.
Assistance with shuttles service calls after hours
Assistance with ski valet service calls after hours.
Observe and report hazardous conditions with roof snow.
Monitor and checking sprinkler shutoffs, associational-parking/rule violations.
Maintain and enforce all trespassing violations on the resort property.
Enforcing federal, state, local, and resort rules on property.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver’s License.
Must be over 18.
1st responder or military Experience preferred but not required.
A high school diploma or GED required
