Makeup Artist

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong understanding of makeup techniques, trends, and products. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. As a Makeup Artist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty of our clients while ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities

Provide professional makeup application services for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, and everyday looks.
Consult with clients to determine their desired makeup styles and preferences.
Sanitate all tools and workspaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products.
Offer advice on skincare routines and product recommendations.
Assist with eyelash extensions application when required.
Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling makeup products to clients.
Capture high-quality photographs of completed looks for portfolio development or social media sharing.
Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire process.

Experience

Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred.
Proficiency in various makeup application techniques, including but not limited to foundation matching, contouring, and special effects makeup.
Experience with hair styling is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Background in retail sales or customer service is beneficial for promoting products effectively.
A portfolio showcasing previous work is highly encouraged.
