Wedding Hair & Makeup Artist

Erin Smith Beauty Creations has expanded dramatically in the past 2 years and is seeking talented reliable freelance stylists and makeup artists to join an independent team to perform on location bridal and event services. This is a freelance position, so artists and stylists will be contacted when opportunities are available. We are growing in Utah next and experience is preferred.
All artists and stylists must be able to present themselves in a professional manner. Must have reliable transportation.
We require all of our artists to have an updated, clean, and professional kit with high-end products. All stylists must provide their own supplies.

‪Ability to work well as a team and has professional social skills

‪Displays patience and positive energy with each client

Responsibilities and Duties
Hairstylist:

‪Well versed in styles, trends and hollywood waves
Must be able to do various braids for all ages
‪Must be able to do a variety of updo’s and bridal hair and textures efficiently

‪ Makeup Artist:

‪Must be able to apply Lashes
Must be able to work well with liquid eyeliner
Must know makeup techniques that are natural glam but efficient and photo worthy
‪Must be able to do Bridal looks as well as Natural looks
Able to work with all ages, skin types and complexions

Responsibilities:

Perform beautiful makeup and bridal services
Deliver exceptional customer service
Work collaboratively and support your teammates
Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workspace
Maintain self-care, hygiene and professional appearance

Requirements:

An up-to-date cosmetology license is required to apply for hairstylist position or esthetician license for makeup preferred
Ability to drive with valid Illinois license
The ability to work weekends
A passion for the beauty industry and for making people feel great
