LPN Evening Shift

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home care and senior care environments. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our patients while adhering to established standards of care.
Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
Provide wound care and perform venipuncture as needed.
Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and safety protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient needs effectively.
Proficient in acute pain management techniques to ensure patient comfort.
Experience in home care or senior care settings is preferred.
Ability to ventilate patients effectively when necessary.
Familiarity with sonography practices is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
