Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 8- week travel assignment working with intensive care patients! Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, including critical care.
Location: Fairfield, CA
Pay: $3,722/ weekly
Schedule: Night shift - 3 day/ 12 hour shifts
Cornerstone Staffing Solutions has an opportunity for a Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our client’s healthcare team in Fairfield, CA. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care and support to patients during labor and delivery, meeting safety and quality standards are met. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and utilizing necessary equipment for labor and delivery procedures.

Pay: $3,772.00 per week

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions has an opportunity for a Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our client’s healthcare team in Fairfield, CA. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care and support to patients during labor and delivery, meeting safety and quality standards are met. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and utilizing necessary equipment for labor and delivery procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery, ensuring adherence to healthcare protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician directives and established guidelines.
- Prepare delivery rooms, ensuring that all necessary equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Assist in postpartum care, ensuring the safety and comfort of the mother and newborn.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Provide education on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care to patients and families.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols to prevent complications.
- Participate in continuous education programs to stay updated with labor and delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid CA RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience.
- Current CPR and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment relevant to labor and delivery.
- Ability to write detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Pay: $3,772.00 per week
