In Home Daycare Assistant
*Job Summary*
As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. Your responsibilities will include assisting in daily activities, ensuring the well-being of the children, and supporting the overall operation of the daycare facility.
*Duties*
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Support lead daycare staff in implementing educational programs
- Provide basic care such as diaper changing and toilet training
*Skills*
- Experience working with children in a daycare, school, or similar setting
- Knowledge of childhood development stages
- Ability to manage children's behavior effectively
- Familiarity with infant care and toddler care practices
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Background in education, nannying,daycare or special education is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $11.53 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
