Job Summary
Senior ranking HR member responsible for direction and administration of agency HR; functional area; functional team.
Provide leadership, oversight, direction, and management of an HR operation including policy and program development, administration, and maintenance of all human resource functions for all employees.
Responsibilities include planning, evaluation, employee management and supervision of personnel policies.

Work with Agency Leadership on human resource operations to ensure programs are properly executed, monitored, and conform to SPO Rules, Department policies, procedures, and sound human resource management principles.
Ensure all services comply with state and federal laws, State Personnel Board (SPB) Rules and Regulations, SPO quality assurance guidelines, DFA rules and regulations, policies, and HR best practices.
Participate in Senior Management Team to set agency policy, direction, and goals.
Qualifications This candidate shall have the skills to multi task in a fast paced environment. Shall have the flexibility to shift directions on a moments notice. Have the ability to process and oversee an enormous amount of HR matters. Bachelor's Degree in any related field and seven (7) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, and benefits administration and/or occupational analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eleven (11) years, including two (2) years of supervisory experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of this classification, may substitute for the required education and experience.
