Housekeeping Attendant

POSITION TITLE: Housekeeping Attendant
TITLE OF SUPERVISOR: Casino Operations Manager
SUPERVISES: None
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of the casino, restrooms, and other areas under supervision of the General Manager. Promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age
GAMING:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Casino work permit
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
· Ensures casino and public areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
· Deals with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
· Check stocking levels of all consumables and advise for reordering
· Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
· Must adhere to the company’s established COVID-19 protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED required
· Previous cleaner or housekeeper experience preferred
· Physical mobility and stamina required
· Ability to work with little to no supervision and maintain a high level of performance
· Customer-oriented and friendly
· Knowledge of English language
· Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
· Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance
· Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association
· Must not have been convicted of a felony
· Must submit to and pass an Alcohol/Drug Screen
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraints. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk and run. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to guest and staff.
