Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Chili's Host provides a warm, welcoming greeting to our guests. You will responsible for providing a great guest dining experience. The Chili's Host will also ensure guests are seated promptly and provide a sincere and heartfelt thank you to each guest as they leave. You will report to the General Manager or Shift Lead. Payrate: $11.50 per hour | Hourly, Part Time | Schedule and Hours: 3-4 working days per week, but can change due to business demand. | Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. | Weekly Earned Wage Access is eligible for this position | Primary Tasks:
You will maintain a cheerful disposition and a neat, clean, and professional image.
Need proficient knowledge of the menu to explain our offerings to the Guests, inform them of current food promotions and specials, and answer my questions.
Greet guests and open the door for each Guest upon entering and departing.
Assess the guest demeanor and identify when behavior are called to the attention of a Manager.
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
You will bid farewell to guests leaving. Ensure everything was satisfactory and invite guests to return.
Keep foyer, host area, and cocktail tables clean and free of clutter.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Hotel station and ensure all menus are stocked and cleaned.
Restock necessary supplies and bring all areas up to standard.
Inspect restrooms periodically and maintain cleanliness standards.
Perform shift change and opening or closing responsibilities.
Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
You will assist other Team Members when needs dictate.
Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned
Requirements:
Required to stand/walk 100% of shift
Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
Plate food, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
Verbalize and respond to Guests
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Prior customer service experience
