Summary of Job Duties:
Horticulture Extra Help will assist with the care and maintenance of garden spaces in the enchanting 210-acre botanical gardens, Garvan Woodland Gardens, located in the tourist hot spot, Hot Springs, AR.

This position will be responsible for weeding, watering, mulching, tilling, raking, planting, removing plantings, and other duties as assigned. This position requires physical work outside. This team member will be expected to work well with others and under the supervision of an experienced staff member. This position requires occasional weekend work.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • No previous experience required as individuals will be trained on site
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with planting, gardening, landscaping, etc. is preferred

Additional Information:
Graduate students are subject to background checks.

Salary Information:
$13.00 - $16.50 per hour
