I need people who are professional and passionate about helping the elderly community. I am seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those in your care. Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Help clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
Monitor and record vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care.
Administer medication as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Assist clients with personal hygiene and toileting needs.
Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing care plans tailored to their needs.
Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client progress and any concerns.
Qualifications
Previous experience in assisted living or senior care is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medication administration is beneficial.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
CPR certification is a plus.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Compassionate nature and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Ability to lift clients safely and assist them in mobility tasks.
