Food Service Inventory Specialist (Full-Time, Wed-Sun 5A-1:30P)

Position Summary The role of the Food Service Inventory Specialist reports to the Purchasing Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring maintenance of inventory in the food services departments.
Essential Position Responsibilities
Maintain effective working relationship with internal and external clients
Review inventory software to reconcile count, order inventory, and ensure safe food practices regarding product rotation are met
Receive all incoming deliveries of food and supplies, ensuring established processes are followed
Assist with food deliveries, as needed
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED, required.
Licensure and Certifications: Drivers license and auto liability insurance, required.
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital food service environment, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs. This position will spend 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment. This position requires driving between system facilities.
