- Hours: Night Shift, 5 PM - 3:30 AM
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Catoosa, OK
We’re looking for a skilled Fintube Operator with 5+ years of experience operating a Mc Elroy finning machine. If you’re dedicated to quality and precision in finning operations, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate finning machines to wrap or embed fin strip material on tubes, creating top-quality fintubes
- Read blueprints, planning sheets, and technical data to determine the right tooling and setup procedures
- Mount, align, and secure parts in the machine, adjusting speed, feed, and coolant flow as needed
- Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to ensure specifications are met
- Feed tubes into the machine, connect them using tube connectors, and continue the finning process
- Measure and verify tube dimensions with gauges, calipers, and rulers to ensure accuracy
- Stop the machine as needed for setup changes or precision checks
- Perform routine maintenance and clean the machine, tooling, and parts
- Use an overhead crane to mount finning strip rolls
- 5+ years of experience operating a Mc Elroy finning machine
- Strong blueprint reading skills and technical understanding
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Relevant experience or training equivalent to less than a high school diploma
