Job Summary:
Maintenance Associates must have general maintenance skills necessary for repairs and preservation of historic buildings. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, a keen eye for details, and focused problem solving.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Starts in April or May and ends in September or October 2025 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.95/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance repairs and tasks on historical buildings.
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Provide, with Professional Demeanor, excellent customer service to our guests and staff.
Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in all guest-facing facility repairs (faucet leaks, loose fixtures, faulty windows and doors, wall repair and paint).
Effective communication with manager of needs when a repair is out of immediate ability to complete.
Skillful with all common hand tools and power tools.
Some locations within Glacier National Park may require Maintenance Associates to have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.

Experience:

Hospitality Facility Maintenance preferred.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor in a spring, summer and fall in Glacier National Park

Physical Requirements include:

Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 51 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and crawl for extended periods of time.
Working safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment.
