Hardin Optical is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Entry Level Powell Technician. This career-worthy opportunity offers a chance to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
***No prior experience is required – we are willing to train the right person!
***This is a weekend shift - Thursday through Sunday
Qualifications:

Ability to apply math and science skills.
Ability to apply data entry skills
Eagerness to learn how to interpret metrology equipment.
Problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented approach to work, with excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Training Opportunity: We offer a comprehensive training program for all new hires. You will receive one on one training to learn how to:

Properly handle optics and optical components in all processes and procedures.
Perform routine mechanical and electronic adjustments and alignments to the appropriate machinery.
Understand and follow target specifications and tolerances.
Inspect and measure optics and optical components and report findings onto specified spreadsheets and/or worksheets.
Properly identify and process unsatisfactory product.
Implement, promote, review, and continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Working Hours/Pay:

Thursday to Sunday - 10 hours shifts
Starting pay: $19 per hour ($17hr w/ $2 differential pay).
