2024 Civil Service Examinations for:
ENTRY-LEVEL FIREFIGHTER
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicant must be 18 years of age on date of test. Applicants must not have reached their thirty-fifth (35) birthday on the closing day of application submittal. Applicants who have at least two (2) years of previous experience as a career/full-time Firefighter with another fire department and whose years of experience when subtracted from the candidate’s age leaves a remainder of not more than thirty-two (32) years are acceptable.
- Applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence
- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
Applications may be submitted online or obtained weekdays through Thursday, September 26 between 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM at the Russellville Fire Department, 107 North El Paso Avenue. If you have questions, please call 479-968-2332.
