Registered Echo Tech - Salina, KS

Location: Salina, Kansas

Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours

Job Description:
Perform echocardiograms and other cardiovascular diagnostic tests

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images

Analyze test results and provide preliminary reports to physicians

Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Stay current with advancements in echocardiography and participate in continuing education

Assist in the development and implementation of department protocols and procedures

Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards

Education and Certification Requirements:
Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech in a clinical setting

Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
