Job Summary:
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Local Travel Cardiology Clinic RN for a 13-week contract assignment in Williston, ND . This position offers weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience. Job Description:
As a Cardiology Clinic RN in Williston, you will be responsible for assisting the cardiology team in managing patient care, including performing diagnostic tests, processing medication refills, and maintaining communication between patients and providers. You will play an integral role in ensuring smooth patient flow and quality care in the clinic.
Answer patient phone calls, address concerns, and provide guidance on health matters.
Process medication refills and collaborate with patients and pharmacies to ensure timely prescriptions.
Perform EKGs and provide results for cardiologists to review.
Assist with stress testing as needed (training provided).
Maintain effective communication with cardiology providers, ensuring timely follow-up and patient care.
Document patient information, test results, and treatment plans accurately in the clinic’s electronic health record (EHR).
Provide patient education regarding heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
Assist in managing patient appointments, ensuring they are scheduled and followed up on appropriately.
Maintain a clean and well-organized clinic environment, ensuring all equipment is functional and supplies are stocked.
Support the cardiology team with any additional administrative or clinical duties as required.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Valid RN license in the state of North Dakota.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Experience in cardiology or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
Proficient in performing EKGs, stress testing.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an outpatient cardiology setting.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Compensation:
Weekly compensation up to $3,000 based on experience.
