Job Title. Who we are looking for: The driver operator is responsible for operating and general maintenance of company fleet of vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks and industrial air movers. Responsible for safely operating commercial motor vehicles to include vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, and air mover trucks and performing other duties such as vehicle preparation, mobilization, general labor, site work & cleanup, and general maintenance of company equipment. They ensure all jobs are completed safely and efficiently, and all documentation is completed in accordance with company, state, federal and customer requirements and/or regulations. Key qualifications include: Experience, Qualifications & Education
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a CDL B at a minimum with tanker endorsement and an acceptable driving record. CDL A is acceptable. ( Note. Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicle.)
Experience working outside in all types of weather conditions.
Ability to work on projects without direct supervision.
Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
CDL A, or B with tanker endorsement.
CDL A, or B with hazardous material endorsement.
Previous vacuum truck (liquid, dry, or hydro excavation), roll-off truck, or other related industrial experience.
International travel is available. Candidates with current-valid Passport are preferred.
What you’ll do:
Work as a team to performing all onsite duties/task in accordance with job requirements including, but not limited to operating various trucks, industrial cleaning, pressure washing, tank cleaning, and hydro blasting. (Note. If no experience, then company will train each candidate.)
Maintain and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and company safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies and site-specific safety plans. ( Note. If no experience, then company will train each candidate.)
Safely operate, troubleshoot, and maintain company vacuum trucks and roll-off trucks to include liquid, dry, and hydro exaction rigs and associated tools and equipment. ( Note. If no experience, then company will train each candidate.)
Complete all field tickets, job safety forms, and time keeping documents.
Assist with the overall safety of company personnel onsite. Ensure all personnel are wearing the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of work and responsibility.

Must be able to pass urine drug screening.
Must be able to able to work overtime, extended hours, and various shifts.
Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, reach, crawl, and kneel.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 10 feet.
Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.
Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms from elevated heights.
Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sounds by ear.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment Ambipar Response Alabama performs a full suite of environmental and industrial services to include, but not limited to vacuum truck, hydro excavation, hazardous/non-hazardous waste transport and disposal, soil remediation, erosion control, and emergency spill response (24/7). In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours weekends, and holidays as needed. Frequent work outside and in inclement weather conditions is required, including heat, cold, and humidity. Must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by established company safety standard including the occasional use of a respirator.
