Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers, customers, carriers and other KM departments/ employees. Handle all required paperwork as defined in the Dispatch Operating Procedures to safely, accurately and efficiently execute customer tank truck orders in the KM and customer inventory systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Actively participate in daily SQE meetings with assigned team
Work closely with Dispatch Supervisor and Senior Dispatcher to understand, develop, document, implement and maintain dispatch operating procedures
Execute all procedures and customer requirements according to SOP
Maintain proficiency and accuracy using the various customer information systems
Issue proper placards, seals, MSDS, COA and product ID tags to driver
Obtain tare and gross weights of tank trucks; calculate volume of product loaded
Create accurate legal DOT BOL that meets KM, DOT and customer requirements
Satisfy customer requirements and special instructions
Work closely with Dispatch Supervisor and Senior Dispatcher to investigate and respond to all customer complaints and inquiries
Handle issues and problems related to the movement of customer product per the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor and Senior Dispatcher
Perform order verification throughout the day
Verify all orders are closed
Ensure accurate delay codes have been applied to orders as applicable
Enter customer ancillary charges as applicable
Assist with managing truck activity in the terminal
Cross trained on all KM accounts; able to satisfy all customer requirements as the business demands
Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns
Perform job related special assignments as required

Preferred Experience, Specific Knowledge, Certifications, Licenses:
1-3 years of similar work experience
DOT certification
