- Plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Obtain necessary permits.
- Order supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Manage a construction superintendent and oversee their work.
- Communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports.
- Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.
- Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
- Use software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
- Lead onsite construction team and subcontractors.
- Schedule subcontractors.
- Meet production quotas.
- Communicate labor needs.
- Inspect all work at project to ensure it meets all quality standards.
- Schedule and attend AHJ inspections.
- Work alongside team members and conduct training when necessary.
