Davis Bacon Wages – Per Contract
Responsibilities:
- Discusses traffic plans and the type and location of control devices per supervisor.
- Distributes traffic control signs and markers along the site in designated traffic movement patterns through the site, using sign, hand, flag signals, and two-way radio.
- Warns construction/utility workers when approaching vehicles fail to heed signals, accidents, and injury to workers.
- Informs drivers of detour routes through work sites.
- Must have a valid Flagger Certification Card
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to read and write, and good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events
- The employee needs to be able to work without supervision
- As this job may require long periods of standing in adverse weather conditions, the flagger must be in good physical condition.
- Good eyesight (correction vision if needed) and hearing
- Pre-hire drug test
