Construction Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Supervisor will supervise the work of construction crews, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Duties

Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling and assigning tasks to crew members.
Operate excavator (including shears and grapple), skid steer, loader and telescoping forklifts, as needed.
Assist in environmental RAD monitoring
Ability to work in a team environment in a safe and productive manner.
Perform other general labor work in support of project activities, as needed.
Perform daily inspections and maintenance on equipment and clearly complete work logs.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on-site.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Previous experience working on RAD-contaminated remediation projects
Must live locally (daily commute) to Los Alamos, NM
Must be able to pass government security clearance
Requires physical strength, stamina, flexibility, and dexterity
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training.
A valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.
