Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM What you will be doing:
Evaluate current active records system for compliance by taking inventories and reviewing information retrieval needs.
Monitor and listen to customers to understand inquiries and requests in order to provide accurate information about the firm's records and prompt assistance.
Coordinate information creation, receipt, storage retrieval and disposition.
Prepare new files within the records system guidelines.
Supporting the onsite business center, which may include: office supply stocking, conference room setup up, pantry inventory, or light facilities, or mail.
What we need from you:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-year experience in law firm records management or similar experience.
Previous experience utilizing legal-specific records management systems – (Legal Key) Records Management System preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft products pertaining to the specific position including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel etc.
Ability to handle physical duties (carrying and/or moving 40lbs) associated with the job - lifting, bending, etc.
To be able to work both independently and in a team setting successfully.
The capability to use/learn technology such as: handheld scanners, Adobe/Word, email, professional messaging (Teams, Slack, Google).
An ability to be bright, articulate, and neat in appearance.
