Business Services Associate
ROLE:
The Business Services Associate will assist with all areas of business lending, deposits, and treasury management. This position will be responsible for receiving documents necessary for originating commercial loans and deposit accounts. Assist with document preparation. Maintains files of all business borrowers. Provides support to members during the implementation of treasury management products. Ensures that members and perspective members are promptly, and professional served. Provides general Credit Union information and cross-sells products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience: Two years of financial industry experience preferred, Understanding of commercial loan products and services preferred, Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures preferred
Education: Minimum of 2-year college degree preferred
Loan training or certification preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entering loan request into appropriate system for underwriting
- Assist with due diligence on business loans to include ordering of title work, flood determination, appraisals, UCC lien search, insurance on collateral
- Review of closed loans to ensure lien perfection and all documentation is imaged for proper record keeping
- Opening of new deposit accounts
- Onboarding new treasury management products
- Assisting with training members on uses of treasury management products
- Monitor maturing loan reports and gather information needed for renewals
- Assist with annual loan reviews
- Receives phones calls from members and responds to emails as necessary to provide excellent member service
- Research new products and services for business members
- Assist branch staff with issues pertaining to business deposit, loan, and treasury management products
- Other duties as necessary to promote the credit union and provide service to its members
