Business Development Specialist

About Us: We at Geo-Solutions, Inc. (GSI) are leaders in the geotechnical construction and environmental remediation sectors, committed to delivering innovative solutions to problems with soil and groundwater. We work on projects all over North America and specifically specialize in slurry trenching cutoff walls, soil mixing for solidification/stabilization and ground improvement, and jet grouting. We also perform various other methods of grouting and serve as a general contractor for more traditional environmental remediation projects.
Position Overview: We are seeking an individual to focus on Business Development to help grow the company. The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience in the geotechnical construction or environmental remediation industries,
· Experience on projects that involved one or more of the specialties described above.
· Experience with clients in one or more of our target industries: oil & gas, coal ash, manufactured gas plant remediation, infrastructure, liquefied natural gas (LNG), various industries requiring environmental remediation (manufacturing, chemicals, etc.)
· A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships.
· A passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the geotechnical construction and environmental remediation sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate and organize our lead tracking and customer relationship management systems.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project management group to ensure client needs are met.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights to enhance our market position.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within an applicable industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
