Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries regarding menu items, dietary restrictions, or recommendations.
- Process payments using cash register systems efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold food safety and handling standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Strong background in hospitality with a focus on guest services.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help others and provide outstanding service.
