Spur, a digital staffing agency, seeks hard-working and punctual Bilingual Aides in Albertville City Schools.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable attitude, understanding the importance of supporting teachers and school staff in enhancing the learning environment for students. The primary duty of this position will be working alongside teachers and staff in their day-to-day activities. The position schedule will be based on the school's standard schedule. While some districts may offer opportunities outside the regular school schedule, these are not guaranteed, and opportunities will be limited. Full-time and on-demand positions are available.

Duties expected of this position are

Assisting in the preparation of instructional materials and physical environment
Assisting in planning and preparation for group and individual activities
Supervising students as assigned during instructional and non-instructional activities
Providing individual and group instructional support to reinforce skills
Providing enrichment and remedial assistance as required
Assisting with testing and evaluation to determine student progress
Participating in activities that will develop positive interaction in the instructional process
Performing other related tasks as assigned
Must have prior experience working alongside children
Ability to work on an on-call basis
Must be able to lift heavy objects to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in Spanish and English Language
Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00)
Must be able to complete MCS Training (Training offered at no cost by Spur Training Manager)
Required Online Training

Compensation

This position pays $15.00 per hour
Must be available to work 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday when school is in session. (Hours vary per location)
