Beaming Operator
Opsource has partnered with a growing company in Honeah Path, SC who is looking for an experienced Beamer Operator who is familiar operating and maintaining the beaming machine to prepare yarn beams for weaving.
Hours:
- Rotating 8-hour Shifts - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS - Rotates Weekly - possible 2nd or 3rd shift options.
- 1st Shift - 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift - 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- 3rd Shift - 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Pay: $16.75- $18.50/ hour
Responsibilities:
Machine Setup: Load yarn and configure the beamer machine.
Operation: Run the machine to wind yarn onto beams, checking for alignment and tension.
Quality Control: Inspect yarn beams for accuracy and correct issues as needed.
Maintenance: Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
Reporting: Keep track of production data and machine settings using Datatex computer system.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- 1-3 years in textile or machine operation REQUIRED - including solid job history.
- Basic mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
