Bartender/Server
Mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses, bar/dining room and balancing cash receipts to record sales. Servers encourage guests to make additional purchases, help resolve conflicts with customers, and let Cooks and other kitchen staff know about new orders. Duties and responsibilities in a Server job description may include:
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Benefits:
- Checking on customers often and suggesting additional items like appetizers and desserts
- Taking orders for new visitors quickly
- Writing or printing bills, explaining them to customers, and collecting payments
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and telling management when repairs are needed
- Emptying trash, mopping floors, and taking care of other routine tasks when needed
- Making sure that orders are accurate before bringing them to customers
- Must be able to lift over 30lbs regularly.
- Pay based on experience
- Bartending/serving experience preferred
- Required documents: TAPS Card, Food Handlers Card
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
