Bartender
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
Skills:
- Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions, give change, and process credit card payments
- Hospitality: Strong customer service skills, including attentiveness, friendliness, and the ability to anticipate customer needs
- Food handling: Understanding of proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Food industry: Familiarity with the food industry, including knowledge of different types of beverages, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Food safety: Adherence to food safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and prevent foodborne illnesses
- Help: Willingness to assist other staff members as needed, such as bussing tables or restocking supplies
- Cash register: Proficiency in operating a cash register or point-of-sale system for processing payments

Pay: From $14.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
