Armed Protective Security Officer
Overview:
The Armed Protective Service Officer personnel will be responsible for providing armed security services to prevent breaches of security at a specified government building.
Responsibilities:
- Enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent security breaches.
- Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces (including Reserves and/or National Guard; or two years of combined military and civilian security experience; or three total years of experience in physical security
- Must possess United States citizenship.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Licensed to work as an armed security officer through the state of NC.
- Must be able to read, write and compose coherent reports in English.
