Anodizing Line Operator

Medicote is one of the oldest contract coating operations in the United States having been founded in 1972 as Teknicote powder coating. As our business has grown, we recognized the specific needs of our medical device customers, and have built a new facility located in convenient Bristol, RI.
Constructed in 2010, our spacious new facility offers some of the most technologically advanced coating systems found anywhere. Our state-of-the-art, automated systems include chain on edge, and overhead conveyor system designs to enable us to meet the most diversified applications with ease and in the volumes necessary for any medical device OEM.
General Description:

Read routers
Operate Crain to load tanks
Assist in the addition of chemicals
Change tank filters
Operate the line up to the Deoxidizer tank
Assist in the coloring of anodizing.
Work closely with management to implement testing and process improvements

Requirements:

High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Ability to get a 50% on Anodizing test after 4 weeks of studying “How to anodize”
Good organizational skills
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Be a dependable and professional

Other Helpful Skills:

Experience with cranes
Experience with chemicals
Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese
Past experience in metal finishing or heavy industrial
Experience working in ISO/GMP environment
