Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Research & Development -Sweet Baked Snacks

This role will create and maintain information within the JMS Specification systems to insure the consistency, safety and quality of JMS products. The specifications will include Ingredients, Formulations, Packaging, Finished Products and any Supporting specifications across all Sweet Baked Snacks SBA. The role will also work with Technical Services, Quality, and Operations to ensure that specifications can be successfully executed to meet all requirements. The role will be the key R&D contact for the Project Managers to ensure project timelines are met.

Location: Corporate Offices in Orrville, Ohio

Work Arrangements: Minimum 30% in person presence in accordance with our Presence with Purpose Model (minimum % can increase based on work/business needs)

In this role you will:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and deliver against project timelines for the creation of Packaging and Trade specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and deliver against project timelines for the creation of Master, Material and Formulation specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the calculation of Global Barcode Standards and that values can be consistently met.
Participation in JMS Key Element and Quality programs to support R&D
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Ingredient Recipes and Labels meet Compliance (ie Child Nutrition, Labeling, Nutrition Claims)
Collaborate with System Team to assist in the development of system and business process improvements

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma required. (College experience preferred)
At least 3 years of R&D and/or Technical Services experience, in which 3 of the years are include CPG specification experience.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet timelines
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and act with a sense of urgency
Strong analytical skills
Strong Computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Word
Must be able to manage multiple projects and multiple spec type creation
Self-motivated, work independently
Strong attention to detail
Strong collaboration skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to develop positive relationships with JMS Personnel at all levels
This position will require extensive computer work and data entry
Travel may be required at times up to 10%
