Description

Responsible for maintaining admission guidelines, obtaining applicant information, screening applicants, and completing the admissions process. Furthermore, it ensures all aspects of the enrollment process are thorough and accurate. This position involves guiding students through enrollment and ensuring a smooth transition to the College. The admission associate collaborates and communicates with the internal and external communities regarding EMCC admissions activities.

Duties

Assist with the processing of MCCB audit reports semesterly
Review and approve applicants for admission
Review and process international applicants’ paperwork
Process in-coming mail
File students’ documents
Assist with processing incoming transcripts
Communicate with applicants regarding the admissions process
Unlock and reset passwords
Assist with front-desk duties as needed
Assist in orientation and registration
Other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications and Required Documents

Education:

Associate’s degree preferred

Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite

Work Experience include required number of years documented experience in a comparable/related position:

1 year in a comparable/related position

Other Qualifications:

Ability to pay close attention to details; strong work ethic; multiple tasks; self-motivated, take initiative in tasks; and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
